Remote Coaching
Starting Strength-based coaching for lifters who want expert programming and feedback but can't train with us in person in Chicago.
You follow a program built around your current lifts, schedule, equipment, and goals rather than a generic template.
Send in training footage and get technical feedback so your squat, press, bench press, and deadlift keep moving in the right direction.
Programming changes as your training does. We adjust for missed sessions, fatigue, progress stalls, and schedule changes.
You're not buying a spreadsheet. You're getting coaching, oversight, and a clear process for staying on track.
All programming, lift tracking, video feedback, and messaging happens through CoachSync, a coaching platform I built specifically for strength and powerlifting coaches.
If you're local to Chicago, most people should still start with the Intro Barbell Clinic. Online coaching is primarily for remote clients and lifters who can't train with us in person.
Online coaching is asynchronous. You train on your schedule, submit videos when you can, and get feedback and programming updates through CoachSync.

Follow your program at your own gym on your own schedule. Log your sets and record video of your working sets.
You get detailed technical feedback on your squat, press, bench press, and deadlift so your form improves session to session.
Your program is adjusted based on your progress, recovery, missed sessions, and changing goals. No static templates.
A program tells you what to do. Coaching tells you whether you're doing it right and what to change. You get video feedback on your form, adjustments when you stall or miss sessions, and someone paying attention to your training over time. That's the difference between a spreadsheet and a coach.
At minimum, a barbell, plates, a squat rack, and a bench. A standard commercial gym with a power rack and barbell area works fine. If you're training in a home gym, we can work with whatever setup you have.
That depends on where you are in your training. Early on, most sessions. As your technique solidifies, less frequently or only when something feels off. There's no rigid requirement, but more video means better feedback.
Absolutely. If you're in the Chicago area or plan to visit, you can transition to Barbell Club or personal training at any time. Some members split between online and occasional in-person sessions.
Pricing depends on your needs and training frequency. Contact us to discuss your situation and we'll find the right setup.
