Chicago Strength & Conditioning is a barbell gym in the Edgebrook neighborhood of Chicago. We work with beginners and adults in private and small-group sessions and teach the squat, press, bench press, and deadlift the way they should be taught: with real coaching.

We are not just selling gym access. We are selling strength, and what strength does for your life.

What Kind Of Gym Is This?

Not a big-box gym. Not a bootcamp. Not a place built around random workouts.

We use a simple tool, the barbell, to help ordinary adults become harder to kill, more capable, and more confident.

Every session is coached. Every lift is tracked. Progress is expected.

David Abdemoulaie has coached the squat, press, bench press, and deadlift since 2012 and has been a Certified Starting Strength Coach since 2014.

There are not many Certified Starting Strength Coaches in the world. Training here means you are working directly with someone who specializes in teaching the basic barbell lifts to beginners and adults, not someone improvising their way through a session.

If you train at Chicago Strength & Conditioning, you are not being turned loose in a room full of equipment. You are being coached rep by rep with the goal of making steady, measurable progress.
